I have the MCA 20 which has only hot and neutral, no ground pin. I use a Virtual Dynamics Audition PC. So, no, it doesn't matter if you use a two contact cable or three contact cable. The ground simply remains unused.
Anthem MCA 2 Power Cable ?
I have an Anthem MCA 2 Series II amp and was wondering if anyone has changed the power cord on theirs and if so to what? I have a PS Audio Plus and prelude cables laying around but I don't think they fit. The cords have three prong slots (2 plus ground) and the amp only has two prongs (no ground). Does this matter? Can anyone else recommend a different power cable.
