I lost an m7 set screw. What do I do?
Thanks for recommending McMaster, they have every set screw imaginable... Except for m7. The ones I made are perfect. Quarter inch, with a flat head top. If I could post pics on this forum, I would show you what I did. I made a few (just in case I...
I lost an m7 set screw. What do I do?
I made my own m7 screws. I took Theo's advice, and I cut the hex heads off of some m7 bolts.  I put each screw in a power drill, then used my hack saw to get through each screw. 10 minute job.Next step it to cut some flat head slots, and file off ...
I lost an m7 set screw. What do I do?
That's a really good idea. I thought about cutting the bolt. Ill see if my old dremel is in the garage. And ill keep my feelets out for an original in the mean time(Fyi bdp24, my ace has metric too. But the m7 set screw is "antiquated" says the ac...

Do I need a specific type of 4 gauge wire for my monoblock amp?

I have one final question. The amp is missing ONE set screw. Its an M7 set screw for the power or ground on the amp. Ive looked everywhere. So my question is, how can I securely connect the power (or ground) without that set screw? Can I solder so...
Do I need a specific type of 4 gauge wire for my monoblock amp?
The 40 amp fuses are located on the outside of the amp. (Idk which conductors. I took the safe route, and ordered another wiring kit. Its an OFC (copper) 4 gauge kit. The one I ordered last week, that hasn't arrived yet, was a 4 guage CCA (allumin...
Do I need a specific type of 4 gauge wire for my monoblock amp?
Thanks for responding. So if I switch out the fuse holder from an 80 amp in-line fuse, to a 120amp ANL fuse, the 4 gauge wire and amp would be safe? I've never hooked up an amp to a car before, and I'm just trying to be as safe as possible.
