I agree with Tketcham! You really have to let it break-in, and then judge. That was the advice given to me when I had issues with this TT. It was good advice.Don't make too many changes too soon.John

I think I will try optimizing the T/T and see what Newbee’s advice can produce; although, I do understand what you other fellows are saying. Perhaps it will come to opening the wallet again. It seems one thing always leads to another in this quest... 
Best turntable for easy setup and no maintenence?
I Like my Music Hall mmf-5.With the money you save on the turntable you can get a fantastic replacement cartridge and use the stock cartride for older LPs that you don't want to damage your good stilus on. 
Suggestions for Feet
I don't know if you are into cones, but I found some very nice brass cones that I use on my Music Hall mmf-5 with good results. The only thing is you must cut the mounting screw off of the cone and use double stick tape to mount on the turntable. ...
