I checked out both the Samsung and the LG models. Preferred the LG picture quality and color though they are quite close. Heard that the LG color wheel runs on synthetic ball bearings while the Samsungs use metal ones which tend to make noise over...

Revel Studio vs. JM Lab Micro BE
Hafler 9505 [250x2] has a very high slew rate that will optimize the Studios abilities. Retail $2k but they are discounted as low as $1400. 
Hafler 9500 vs Bryston 4bsst Class Rating B vs A
Hafler 9505 slew rate blows away the paltry Bryston. Parasound Halos also have a high rate. 
Halo or Odyssey
Hafler gives great bang for the buck. The 9505 retails for 2K new but is discounted as low as $1400. Check out the very impressive slew rate (Halo also has a high rate). 
Solid state design options...
Ever notice that most amp makers don't publish slew rates. Perhaps because so many are so low. The Hafler 9505 (250w x 2) has a higher slew rate (150 v/us vs. 60 v/us) than any Bryston. The Anthem amps are quite low.

Just bought an 52" LG. Not perfect but prefer the skintones to to the Samsungs which seem a bit saturated. The LG is rumoured to use plastic ball bearings (instead of metal) which makes them quieter...esp. over time. Sammys are rumoured to whine a...
