Thank you all for the feedback so far. @ghdprentice  thank you, that's helpful.  From what I've gathered, the Amati's are warmer than say the B&Ws.  I'm hearing the auditioning advice loud and clear and will make that a condition of any purch...

AK6 onwards have a sealed back cabinet and corner placement is apparently less of an issue, though I don't have a problem using corners if needed.  Turntable is not high on my list right now, it may be in the future.  Thanks.
