Speakers for super sensitive ears?

Has anybody had a similar experience to mine and found that commercial speakers just arent finely tuned to your ears anywhere near as well as you would like and that no commercial speaker sounds right?

I believe I am in that elite group. What is the solution to this?
I have found that pretty much every speaker that is for sale isnt good enough for my exquisuite requirements.

Are you sure you really are only ordinarily sensitive to other components?

Most other components make little difference. I cant hear cables.
" If your hearing capabilities don’t fall outside scientifically established norms, your problem lies elsewhere."

People with otherwise normal hearing do differ in their tolerances for various anomalies. I would guess that a large enough sample size would result in the familiar bell curve distribution, and some people’s intolerances are going to be way out on the tail end of that bell curve. This doesn’t make them superior, but it does mean their quest will probably take longer.

Ok, then “I would guess that a large enough sample size” of speakers auditioned would sooner or later result in a win for the OP’s problem. His sample size obviously isn’t large enough.

I agree.  I think there is a reasonable chance some speaker designer out there has made something kenjit would like.  And if not, or if cost is a barrier, then there is still DIY.
