The lack of cabinet resonance , clear articulation and the frequency response at low volume vs high volume are key difference.
I play Tchaikovsky 1812 by Eric Kunzel , track 1, at 90dB before the canon.
B&W has the ability to play that loud and not breaking out when the canon comes.
