Honestly, for that particular tester, I don't think that it would be worth the expense to have someone repair it.
You may try posting on Antique Radio Forums test equipment board. They are a great bunch of knowledgeable guys. They may be able to walk you through something or often enough someone may pm you and offer to repair it.
