To all ARC Reference 6 Owners.
I owned the Ref 5SE and had the chance to listen to the Ref 6 at my then local dealer when it came out. I didn't take it home and use it in my system. I did however take home the Ref 10 and l did listen to it for about a week. It's old but still i...
Dallas (Fort Worth) Audiophile Club - we meet every month or every other month
The meet at Brian’s place was very nice! Impressive state of the art system and room at Brian’s place. It was cool to meet so many of you my first time attending. DFW has a good group of audiophiles. Looking forward to more meets in the future!!!Vern

How to connect a subwoofer into a mono block system
If you can afford it, use two subs. I've been thru two REL subs. The Storm II and Stentor. They are really good with music. I needed two subs to even out bass response and "pressurize the room"! I ended up with a pair of JL Audio subs. If you adju...
New D'Agostino Monoblocks...$250,000
I have to admit that hk_fan is right on the mark. Not one single person on here is poor and struggling to the point of giving up completely. We all share our love of audio equipment and listening to music. The teeth gnashers would probably never a...
New D'Agostino Monoblocks...$250,000
soniqmike, I look at it from a positive point of view. That means those able to buy the amps are at 70-80%. Not even sure it's as bad as you make it out to be. It's usually ultra high frequencies anyway. I remember getting upset when I was younger...
New D'Agostino Monoblocks...$250,000
Most of you already know that these amps will sell in the Asian market. I have also read that Wilson WAMM owners could be others who would buy quickly. I read the WAMM and Relentless combo was sounding  rather good at the Wilson factory when the f...
Does anyone leave their amp and preamp on all the time?
Please stop with the "fire risk" posts. In the 29 years I was a firefighter and even longer as an audiophile I never saw a fire that was caused by leaving stereo gear on. The one electrical fire I do remember was a young girl left her fan on in he...
Audio Research Ref 6 power cord
I am using Transparent power cords. I used the same cord on a Ref 5SE and now with the Reference 10. It does lower your noise floor especially if your room is quiet enough to hear the change.  That brings out the subtle cues in the good recordings...
Can a power cord increase the resolution of an Class D (SMPS) amp by more than 5% ?
Never improved the speed. It did lower the noise floor allowing more detail and resolution to pass thru. Stock cord supplied by Theta replaced with Transparent Reference PC.
Suncoast Audio experience
I just left the Audioshark website. Mike is indeed highly respected from what I have read from his customers.
WILSON CUBS, CAN'T KEEP THE GRILLS ON ??? ANY IDEA's ???
I used Gorilla glue for the velcro strips on a pair of Sophia speakers that had a similar issue. It worked fine. I also recommend leaving the grills off, or call Wilson audio for help as recommended.
My JL Audio sub is dead. What exactly happened?
Polar993, If they are on "backorder" how is the company shipping out any new product? The problem with your request of "borrowing" another owners box doesn't guarantee what shape it will return in. Are you paying for that box to be returned to the...
