In my answer of 2/6/08 I was referring to a Conrad Johnson Sonograph SG-3.
Who LOVES their under $ 1000 table combination ?
Since they were first introduced. It's arm that was supplied with it (a Sonograph LMT) can handle almost any cartridge. And, unlike most turnatbles, ALL adjustments can be made from the top of the plinth. You almost never see them up for sale used...
Joni Mitchell Blue - Wow help me Agoners
IMO there aren't any other Joni albums like Blue. The problem with JM is that she is a true artist. Hard to pick a favorite. I came into her music when I was in high school and Blue was the album. One album that is largely overlooked is "The Hissi...

The best speaker you ever heard?
Hard to pick a favorite but the one that made me almost drop dead the minute I heard it was the Quad esl 57. I consider myself fortunate to still have a pair.
Favorite Ella Recordings

Saw the Trio on last Sunday's Breakfast With The Arts program on A&E. Fantastic.
Hummel's Op.61
Sorry but I made a mistake, it was op.63 Grand Serenade no.1. Can anyone suggest a good recording of it.
Hummel's Op.61
My grateful thanks!
Speakers to hang on to for LIFE
Original Quad ESL's if you can find them. Easily driven by low powered tubes. Best midrange ever! Aural heaven on earth!
