try plugging all the equipment into the same wall outlet. If necessary purchase a outlet strip. Sounds like you have a ground loop. You can also try reversing the polarity of the plug.
Most compatable amp for ACI Sapphire III
I echo the tube option. Offerings such as the VAC Avatar, Conrad Johnson CAV-50, and Audio Research CA-50 would sound great.Johnny
Amp suggestions
I have some extensive experience with Dynaudio speakers. They tend to need amps that put out alot of current. Dynaudio, I believe uses Simm Audio. The Moon W-5 would seem an excellent match. Also look at BAT VK-500, Threshold, Krell, Rowland et al...

Tell me if i got it wrong..
Mara,Lets see in your first post you say that SS has less Harmonic distortion than a tube amp. Now all of a sudden that has no value. Please make up your mind. Tube amps offer many advantages. Tubes are more linear devices than SS components. Tube...
Speaker positioning?
You may want to try tweeter rings. They are felt rings that you adhere to the tweeter flange. they really help.also you may want to experiment more with cables. Select a slightly warmer sounding cable such as Cardas.Hope this helps,Johnny

Conrad Johnson 17LS Stock Tubes
B,Yes you can purchase a set of stock 6922's for your Premier 17LS. I do not know the cost, but I am sure that Knut of CJ would be happy to provide you with that information. When replacing the tubes you must replace with matched pairs, from what ...
Best preamp to use with electrostatic speakers...
I would keep it all Levinson. A Levinson 380S would be my choice. Has remote turn on for the amp and you will not have to worry about impeadance matching. Also the 380S is a wonderful sounding preamp.Hope this helps,Johnny
can't Bias a tube
Yes,Looks to me that one of your output tubes has bitten the dust. Replace the fuse and tube and rebias. Also, if this tube has failed, chances are all the tubes need replacing.hope this helps,Johnny
