I wouldn’t worry about it. Just Hook the system up, let er rip and see what happens. That’s how normal people do it.
Wire break-in safe without speakers?
I need to break in some interconnects and some speaker wire. I was thinking about putting an old CD player on repeat for a week. Is it safe to connect the CD player directly to an older NAD power amp, without speakers, just the speaker wires sitting on the floor and letting it rip? Not wanting to drive the family nuts.
