Synergistic New Tesla Line...Any comments?

I just bought Synergistic Research's new Tesla Accelerator speaker cables and Tesla Vortec interconnects from The Cable Company. I have tried many demo cables from The Cable Company over the past year. These were the first to give me that WOW factor I been looking for so long.

Does anyone have these cables and can you please post your impressions and comments? Thanks.

You are going to hear things that you didn't hear in your system before. Give them a couple of days to really settle in and sit back and relax. Enough said... :O)
Joeyboynj,

I went ahead with it the Hologram D will ship tomorrow... I will keep you very well informed with my findings. :O)
I've also tried many different cables over the past year and I found Synergistic Research to be on the forefront.

I just received my order of Synergistic Research, Tesla Accelerator interconnects, Tesla D3 Digital cable, Accelerator Speaker Wire, T1, T2, T3 power cords & Quattro Mk.II Full system. I'm totally pleased with the sound and the difference they made in my system. "AWESOME"

I replaced my Transparent Cable, Ultra interconnects and speakers cables I have no regrets whatsoever. Actually it's like night and day.

I would highly recommend Synergistic Research. Their service and quality is second to none. Ted, Elliott keep up the great work...
I test one cable at a time. I started with the interconnects switching all of them from Transparent Cable MusicWave Ultra to Tesla Accelerator & Acoustic Reference interconnects. Right off the back there were major improvements. BTW I was still using my Transparent Cable MusicWave Ultra speaker cable.

I then switched my Transparent Cable MusicWave Ultra speaker cables to Tesla Accelelerator Bi-Wire speaker cable. Upon listening to my entire system setup with the Synergistic Research cables the game was over and I couldn't go back.

The best advice I can give is try them for yourself. What will it cost you a little time? It will be well worth the time spent.
Tvad,

When I purchased the cables from The Cable Company all fees other then shipping were applied towards my purchase. When you purchase your cables that $80.00 will be applied as well. The Cable Company is great to work with, there's no pressure at all... Those guys are first class.

Rydenfan, upon my return from dinner with the family I will answer your question.
From my understanding with The Cable Company, the fees you pay can be applied to any purchase. If you decide to purchase any other cables and/or products your demo fee will be applied. If you are truly in the market to purchase cables it's a no brainer. Where else can you demo tens of thousands of dollars of cables for little to nothing?

I didn't have any hassles with The Cable Co. they had all the cables I asked to demo. Maybe the moon and the stars were in perfect alignment. :O)

As far as price it all comes down to your negotiating skills whomever you plan on purchasing from. I was very please with the price point I paid.

When I placed my order with The Cable Co, the cables were drop shipped directly to my home from Synergistic Research... Hassle free. You know what else was so cool with The Cable Co. they let me continue to use the cables until my new SR cables arrived. Again hassle free and great service.

I'm using a T1 in my Pioneer Plasma Elite, T2 preamp & phono stage, T3 Power Screen... I'll be using a Hologram A with my amp & Hologram D with my DAC.

I need all of you to do me a favor don't tell my wife. :O)
Rydenfan,

You are not going to believe this I had my response already to go and then I had a quick power outage. So here we go again with less info. In my opinion the bass on the Accelerator was tighter and quicker then the Acoustic Research the midrange on the AR was warmer. The sound staging on both cables were great. I close my eyes and there are no speakers in the room. Don't get me wrong I like the AR that's why I have decided to give the Apex IC's a go.
Wow, I had nothing but good experience with The Cable Co. they had every Synergistic Research cable I wanted to demo. I use the same guy all of the time I never felt as if he was rushing me off the phone and/or didn't have time to talk to me. At times when I was unable to reach him via phone he always calls back. When I call my local dealer I'm unable to reach my guy I deal with at times. We need to understand they do get busy and we aren't their only customer.

As far as screening calls from my understanding some of their sales team/reps live in different parts of the country and the calls are routed to them. I know my guy isn't in New Hope, PA.

Regarding customer service when I received the demo cables there was an error made by TCC I made 1 phone call and the problem was resolved on the spot that day, 2 days I received the correct cables and they paid for the shipping.

My local dealer sells Audio Quest cables for the most parts that's it. Actually I save 8% sales tax dealing with The Cable Co. and I received a very nice discount on my purchase and the shipping was free. For the record my local dealer would not have given me the same type of discount on anything, actually it's like pulling teeth trying to get any type of discount from them.

The other local dealer I wouldn't give those clowns the time of day they are nothing but a bunch of snobs. When you walk into a store with no customers and it takes more then 15 minutes for someone to greet you that speaks volumes. Enough said...

Upon finding out the products I wanted and what type of system I have they then wanted to kiss my hand as if I were Michael Corleone.

If you guys know of another audio company where you can demo scores of different cables and/or products please let me know.
From the time I received my SR cables I've kept my system playing basically for 24 hours per day for my break-in period. These cables continue to get better and better each day. I've been totally amazed by these SR Tesla cables.
Has anyone upgraded the power cord for a VPI Synchronous Drive System? From a sonic standpoint would it really make a difference?
That's one of the things I like best about SR cables/products you don't have to purchase their most expensive cables to achieve the best results...
How do you like it compared to what you were using in the past? I would like to know are there many sonic improvements? I was expecting to receive one today but there was a slight problem with TCC. Things happen...

I upgraded my Accelerator speaker cable to the Precision Reference I'm loving the change. I can only imagine what they will sound like after the break in period.

BTW, you have a sweet system.

Thanks,
Joeyboynj,

I sent Steve from TCC an email today letting him know I'm interested in auditioning another Hologram D. I also requested would they please make sure that they ship the correct US version not a Euro version. Lastly please make sure this one doesn't have any intermittent problems.

Other then that I'm very pleased with all of the SR products I audition. My Tricon Analog phono cables will be arriving tomorrow...
Rhirsch,

Thanks for the info, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. Hopefully I'll have one setup in my system next week if TCC can find the missing link. :O)

Thanks again,
Jazz 59,

The Precision Reference is much more dynamic I like everything about this speaker cable. The PR doesn't miss a beat... You will be very pleased with your upgrade.
Ozzy,

I personally have no idea I do know that the PR are killer. I know the PR are getting sweeter and sweeter as each day and they aren't even broken in yet.
Yo2tup,

I wouldn't let a problem that a dealer is having with a manufacture impact my decision on a product and/or services I wanted to purchase. Having owned a business myself matters like this usually arrive when bills aren't being paid in a timely matter or not at all. I'm not saying that your dealer isn't paying his or her bills. For the record I wouldn't know that. Did SR tell you that they were going to honor the deal you had with your dealer? Or did you hear this from your dealer?

I received nothing but great service from the entire staff and crew at Synergistic Research. They are always willing to answer any questions, you are never made to feel as if you are being rushed of the phone. Ted, Elliott and Mike have always gone the extra yard when needed.

Don't get caught up in problems that already exist between any dealer and a manufacture it has nothing to do with you. I'm sure you and Synergistic Research can and/or will work this matter out so it's a win win for all parties involved.

But then again that's my opinion. Enjoy the music things will workout.
Rhirsch

The PowerCell is a musical, magical, mystical, masterpiece. The silky sexy black piano finish is award winning in its own right. I'm loving it already and I haven't let up since it arrived yesterday. The PowerCell is a winner.

I agree with all of your feedback and then some regarding this product. The dual power cord setup is very slick. Did you plug the active shielding directly into the PowerCell?

Splaskin, you are going to be blown away with the PowerCell, it's going to take your system to new heights.

Back to the music Herbie Hancock is calling me gotta go.

Jeffrey :O)
Rhirsch,

You have a very sweet system I guess the PowerCell will be the icing on the cake. After the first 24 hours it's opening up really nice...

I had a very good friend over last night and we just had a jam session going. Before he left he said I took him on a musical journey. That was his first time listening to my system with the SR products installed.
I started out using all 10 sockets, the EAD/Tara Labs ACMaster 8000 Power Screen I replaced has 14 sockets (6) digital & (8) analog. I actually like the Power Screen, it's a very well made product and does its job very well. I'm using it to plug in the additional MPC for now.

How long have you been waiting for the Einstein player?
I need to give the Hologram D another try. The 2 that I audition from TCC had a slight problem one was a euro version and the other had a intermittent problem with the plug it kept shorting out.

I know the SR Hologram A & D power cords are on top of the food chain. When the mods on my amp are completed I will be using the Hologram A power cord. Then I will have complete Synergistic Research synergy. :O)
Dynguy,

Being that the Cable Company is the middle man you will be best served contacting Synergistic Research directly. SR, will be doing all of the repairs anyway and you will actually save time. They have great customer service.

Joeyboynj, the Hologram D, arrived today. After letting the Hologram D, settle in this PC is sweet as candy. I'm using it on my DAC and a T3 on my transport. I plan on switching it back & forth to find the best match... I'm betting on the DAC she the brains of the operation. :O) I really like this PC it brings everything together in perfect harmony,
Ozzy,

I will have to agree with you totally. I just added the Hologram D power cord this past weekend the sound-staging is bigger, deeper and the music is so much more dynamic. I guess I'm going to have to break down and get the Hologram A for my amp.

I have to replace one more cable. I'll be adding the Hologram A power cord to my amp and then I'll have total SR synergy. Every addition of SR products have been very positive within my system. That speaks volumes...
Ozzy,

The Tricon Phono Analog IC was a great upgrade on my TT. Does anyone have any feed back on the Enigma?
No I didn't try the D1 or D2. I'm using the D3 between my Wadia DAC & Nak MB1 Music Bank transport. In the pass I've used Tara Labs, Transparent & Siltech digital cables.

Jazz 59

I had the Accelerator speaker cables I decided to upgrade to the Precision Reference speaker cables right off the back there was a huge sonic improvement.
Yes, I purchased the T1 power cord for my Pioneer Elite Plasma. It's the bomb and totally awesome. The T1 was also fantastic on my IMAC.
