No love for Verity?

Reading through the myriad "recommend a speaker" threads, the list of the "usual suspects" often seems to be headed by Vandersteen and Magnepan, together with a bunch of others (Harbeth, Wilson, etc., etc.).  But I can't remember the last time when in one of these threads I read of someone recommending Verity.  What gives?  Are all the satisfied Verity owners over on one of the other forums?

Is Verity even a factor anymore in high end speakers?  I haven't seen anything interesting from the brand in years.

Possibly too busy listening to music to waste time on any forum.......just a thought.
Verity is a wonderful natural sounding speaker there are many satisfied owners all over the world. When i go to stereo shows they always sound great. So what if they are not the speaker of the week. Enjoy!!
I've been curious about Verity for a while. I have AZ Adagios now which are just fine, but I was wondering how the Finn might sound.
Verity Audio speakers command a premium price even on the secondary market. I have always wanted to demo this brand. As above, the owners are too busy enjoying the music.
Happy Listening!
I have never heard one and guessing they are rather hard to find and audition. That being said the reviews look great and I would love to hear a pair of their speakers some day.
I've been able to have good listening sessions to several verity speakers, including the Verity Audio Parsifal Ovation.

Verity is one of those speakers that are pleasant, very competent, musical, and I get why they have their fans...yet I'm unmoved by the sound.  It's  clear and can be rich as well, but a bit timbrally bland to my ears.

I do love the general concept and aesthetics though, that they produce really high end speakers, nice looking, at a domestically acceptable modest size.
Everbody loves Verity as they look and sound great what a wonderful sounding speaker. They have been around for years and keep getting better love them and buy a pair soon. Enjoy!!
I've not heard any Verity speakers, but I have not heard a speaker with a plastic cone midrange that I would actually buy (preferring paper cones or fabric domes).  Except for *possibly* the Rockports, (or are Magicos in that group?) - but I am not ready to shell out $20K+ yet.  Harbeths, Dynaudios, etc. are nice, but don't make me want to take them home for the long-ish term.
Not to say too much beyond the owners run the company differently than a lot of what's expected in the industry.

Beautiful looking and sounding loudspeakers.  I've never felt less than impressed when listening to them, including the pair I heard at John's / @jmcgrogan2  home
Yeah they just don't advertise and hence don't get many reviews or much attention (kinda similar to Gershman in that regard IMHO) .  However, they are among the most natural and musical speakers I've heard, which as others have said might just mean they're listening to music rather than touting how good their speakers are.  Avoid them at your own risk -- they're very well worth a listen.

Underrated as hell.  I prefer Verity over any Magico, Vandersteen, or the like.
Verity Parsifals are one of the best high end speakers I’ve had. I’ve owned 3 pairs!
Lovely tonal balance*, wide, pinpoint soundstage, one of the best looking speakers out there.
* bass is a bit light, but, it does not take away from the music. A subwoofer is a good option, of course.
Verity speakers are at the top of the heap IMHO.

@trelja , thanks Joe!
You have a very good memory, it was wonderful meeting you!!

Cheers,
John
Agree with the above comments.  These will get you off the Merry-go-round. They are very musical, well made and beautiful too.  I bought my P.E.s a few years ago and love them.  Probably my last pair of speakers and I have owned (or still own) ProAcs, Magnepans, and Sonus faber.
Yes I've always admired the honest musicality of the Veritys--smooth,full bodied, rich tonally--not everyones cuppa but more pleasing and satisfying for long term listening than say Magico( fatiguing!) YG, B+W's

Question if I may, with the Verity's having rear firing woofers how far from the rear wall is "optimal" for placement?
