Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

   Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
   My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......

Well, for the prices the command, they better be good.
What were you using before the Power Core Tech?
Bob
Call me a fool (and, many have), but I think there has never been an attempt to steal from those who bought CPT products. CPT had a great reputation with the Equi-Core.
At worst, it was poor management/over-optimistic hopes. Poor health certainly didn't make things easier.
Sometimes things get out of hand and all hell breaks loose. The Deep Core is probably that thing.

In any case, I am hopeful that the new owners will honor past agreements.

+1
@corepowertech,
I look forward to my DeepCores and cables.

@stereo5
Amg isn't the only one waiting.
Though $1K isn't chump change, it isn't the end of the world. Those of us who ordered did so knowing that Core Power made some very impressive equipment in the past and there was no reason to believe it shouldn't have continued. That we got caught short is one of the hazards of buying into a small independent company.
Hopefully, the new owners will make good on all of Mark's previous commitments.
B
@stereo5 ,
I concur completely. Had I known Mark had a 'track record', I would have been a bit more circumspect.
The sad thing is that he mimics a 'brother in law' of mine. (Quotes are because we aren't married). In the end, I am responsible for $60K in liens.
These things happen. And, I believe in Karma.
I concur, the Keces look very nice.
Oh well, I guess I bet on the wrong horse...
Bob
Looks like I am out of luck, regarding my Deep Cores and cables.
It really makes trusting people very difficult these days.
B
Ah, finally!
Though after waiting this long, I won't be holding my breath.
Hopefully, all of us will get our stuff.
B
Wow, such cynicism. But, I think he-who-should-not-be-named brought this upon himself.
B
I really need to brush up on my soldering skills and start doing some of this myself.
B
And, just when I gave up hope of ever getting my merchandise/money back...
B
Thanks, Ozzy.
I have more faith now that Underwood Wally has taken the helm.
I have never dealt with him, but his good reputation precedes him.
B
I wasn't on the list, but Mark confirmed it for Wally.
Now I am on the list.
Thanks Wally and Mark
Bob
@ozzy ,
I believe the CPT 1800 is a power conditioner.
The new Deep Core is supposed to be used before the CPT 1800.
B
@abd1 and others,
I am still waiting for the Deep Cores, which should be coming soon, according to Underwood Wally.
My CPT 1800's are still working properly, so I can't complain about that, but having to wait so long for the Deep Cores is a bit off putting.
Mark is a good salesman, but he definitely overextended himself, and alienated a good many customers. Had he been more forthcoming/realistic about product offerings, I think he would have made it.
Bob
Has anyone gotten a Deep Core, yet.
Wally emailed me a while back saying they should become available by the end of the month.
B
I got an email from Wally providing Tracking numbers for my Deep Cores, as well.
B
@calloway ,
I would be glad to oblige.
The Deep Cores are supposed to be inserted before the Equi Cores.
So, I will do just that, and let you know.
B
I got mine a week ago.
Now, I just need some time to get them incorporated.
B
@aniwolfe .
I got a pair of Deep Core's. So far, no issue, but to be honest I really haven't noticed a great deal of change in my systems after installing it. But, then again I really didn't do an A/B test.
B
@ozzy ,
Thanks for posting. I am beginning to think that is the way to go, as well.
I just replaced an Equi+Core with an AQ 1000, and wish I had done that to begin with. I just got caught up with all the hype and also had my money tied up when the company got sold.
Oh well, live and learn...
