Cost of Features - Extra's

Curious about the cost of adding features such as phono stage, headphone amp, remote, multiple inputs to an Integrated Amp. My Belles Aria has phono, headphone, remote, multiple inputs/monitor/bypass options. My Odyssey Cyclops Extreme has 1 input and no remote. Curious what the Belles would cost if it had only one input. I know some here are currently/formerly in manufacturing or sales. I received the Odyssey today, have had the Belles awhile. Both are terrific. Just wondering...Thanks

cost accounting is complex, really a black art. Added features cost something but so does complexity and simplification. For example, add a third Belles Aria model at < $1,500 or the $2,350 Signature. Now David is stocking another front and rear panel, paying suppliers for three setups vs. ? Inventory holding costs, etc…. Scale is worth something.

Yes, i spent some time thinking about cost in manufacturing…working in a customer driven world with > 100 shades of….white paint….

The good news is both David and Klaus build super high value gear with great but different sonic signature. Enjoy.
