Choice between 2 speaker cable types.

I am interested in upgrading my speaker cables and have been referred to two better known companies. The two speaker cable types are 1. Straightwires - model Expressivo Grand and the other is Cardis - model Cygnus.
I have a rather long run between my speakers (Focal Scala Utopia) and my power amp (Mac MC302) at 26 feet.
If someone has some experience or input as to which cable may be superior for this situation I would greatly appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Andy

I don’t have any experience with the cables you mention, but my McIntosh MC302 drives a 25 foot pair of Canare 4S11 speaker cables to my Golden Ear Triton Reference speakers. This combo blows away the $1500.00 speaker cables I was using previously. The Canare cables professionally terminated with locking banana plug cost a whopping $129.00 shipped for the 25 foot pair.

The key is to break in for 400 hours. During the break in, I didn’t listen, I ran it on my secondary system for 19 days, then inserted into the main system. So, it was not simply getting used to them during break in. One of Audios best kept secrets.
