While I have a different amplifier, however I have tried many 6922 type tubes and found that Valvo CCa with no dampers sound the best to me.
Aesthetix Mimas - which tubes?
Have you tried using different tubes in an Aesthetix Mimas - which have worked best for you?
I have tried matched pairs of Electro-Harmonix 6922EH gold pin, Mullard (RTC) 7308, and Genalex Gold Lion 6922.
My favorite amongst these are the Genalex, and I'm curious what others have experienced.
Also - do you use tube dampers? Which ones?
