Linn tabel won't stay on 45 slips to 33


Any linn owners know how to solve this problem I have a linn basik tabel with an akito 2 arm it was just recently gone  through and completely  tuned up it has recently started to slip off of the 45 spot on the spindel and goes right back to 33 every  time dose anyone know how I can solve this problem  so I can play my 45's as well thank you Michael

As I recall, before I got the Lingo with speed control, there was this flaky little adapter you put over the 33 rpm pulley that never worked very well for me. If this is still the case, I would remove it, clean with an alcohol wipe and reinstall. Best I can remember. The Naim forum could probably do a lot better. Good luck. 

When switching to 45 Linn recommends keeping the outer platter off, then turning the motor back on and letting the belt get set properly on the inner platter first, turn off, replace outer platter.

Also, cleaning the pulley with solvent-surgical spirits to help the belt remain in place.
