Esoteric Grandioso K1x owners - have you added the PS1 power supply to your player ?

Hello Audiogoners  - I hope all is well and just wondering if any owners of the Grandioso have added the Esoteric PS1 separate power supply to their players and was it worth it monetarily as well as sonically. Thank you in advance.

David ,as an k1x owner, have you experienced any issues with this unit? 
some report that it’s sounds dulls after playing for several hours, or if kept on f continuesly .please advise.
