Anyone still using a TRL modded Sony?
I have a TRL modded Marantz SA8001 however after it broke in it began to sound edgy bright, sibilant and glassy. In fact my Panasonic Blue Ray player sounds better in most areas.Paul Weitzel says he may need to fix something in the midrange however ...
Focus Audio FS688 vs FS68se
In other words very hard to tell the difference unless your sitting and critically reviewing them in a A vs B situation. It would seem that even a jaded audiophile would be happy with the FS68se without spending the extra $1000 or more here in Cana...

Curiosity re Callistos vs other GMA products
I enjoyed your review at 6 moons. Yours was the article that closed the deal for me & I am now a proud GMA Callisto owner. What I have here finally is a pure instrumentÂ…. so now it is a question of associated equipment & room acoustics as ...

Thanks for weighing in guys.I found by pouring over the manual downloaded from the site that my spikes are set at 113/16" which is level.I am going to move the speakers further apart however 9.5 feet is about max without rearranging the whole room...
GMA Callisto vertical tilt and placement issues
I can relate to Mbacinello’s comment .My room acoustics have always been weird with open adjacent rooms being,a bay window, hardwood etc.In point of fact they sound best 23 feet away sitting in my 10x10 attached dinning room where I still have a di...
