NAD M22 Hypex NCore power amp for British speakers?
I mean speakers with a liitle bit of warm touch sound of course, currenly I'm driving my Wharfedale Denton with a class D power amp, great sound, while NCore Hypex is considered best in the class for it's clean power and distortion free attribute
Best bookshelf speakers
Wharfedale Denton, although I never heard of LS50, it’s surprising some people sold it and choose the Denton.
Dynaudio Special 40 or OLD Dynaudio Focus 160?
@simon The price of Joseph Audio Pulsar is double that of Dynaudio Special 40@freediver What happen if I drive the speakers with solid state power amp?
Best bookshelf speakers
Wharfedale Denton, to some it's even more listenable than the famous KEF LS50, with your budget the Denton could be the last best speakers you will ever need, prepare a better clean power amp for it.
Dynaudio Special 40 or OLD Dynaudio Focus 160?
@simon oh, there are still better monitor than Special 40? I wonder...
Dynaudio Special 40 or OLD Dynaudio Focus 160?
@jeffersondavis There is a 1k difference where Special 40 a little bit expensive, I would love to have a wood veneer finish instead of glossy though, to add into the list, half the price of Special 40, it is ProAc Tablette 10 Signature another con...
What are the best entry level integrated amps and speakers?
@pipebro  I'm afraid not, though my experience with all Wharfedale models so far is not great enough, except the greatest Denton which I love, rather disappoint with other models either new or old, Denton 2 85th Anniversary is another not so great...
What are the best entry level integrated amps and speakers?
Without doubt, it's Wharfedale Denton at $499 a pair, I've tried Elac B6, Monitor Audio Bronze BX2, Q Acoustics 3020,  sound really not bad, but not enough to fill the musical gap offered by the Denton, indeed I can say there are better speakers t...
I'm looking for inexpensive bookshelf speakers.
You need a pair of Wharfedale Denton 80th Anniversary to hear the soul of music!
Looking for speaker recommendations that I can purchase on Amazon.com
Before any recommendations, I would strongly suggest you not to take any metal tweeters design speakers like Klipsch or Focal, or you may need very great electronic to tame it properly, personally I've owned few speakers include Klipsch RP-160M, E...
Wharfedale - Reva/Diamond
hmm, there are certainly a lot of Wharfedale models over 85 years, my favourite classic is Wharfedale Denton, recently there is a Denton 2 which sound a bit more aggressive, and I've seen many prefer Denton 1 over any other models, a small weak po...
Wharfedale Denton vs Diamond 225
@chrisr Denton 2 85th seem only available in China market, I'm not sure, could be a little a bit late for other countries official release, I'm keen to know how the track Moanin' perform on LS50 compare to Denton 1, hehe...and perhaps your other s...
Wharfedale Denton vs Diamond 225
@chrisr  Though I have to clarify that for some real great mastering records, the Denton still can play it 100% without compression. By the way, I'm curious what song you played sounded compressed when push to high volume, as this is very tricky t...
Wharfedale Denton vs Diamond 225
All Diamond series speakers sounded a bit unrefined for some music while the Denton clearly sound musical in almost every genre of music, the only thing that the Denton lack is dynamic if go to extreme volume, I would strongly suggest to get the D...
Time for Two Ways !
Wharfedale Denton, I'll wrap it up quick and fast in 3 factors: musical sound, heritage build, and affordable price!
