Schiit - shipments stopped?
It’s fine with me if the OP complains, just probably blowing off steam. It’s a tense time for many right now. I’m thankful my family is healthy and we have food to eat and a safe place to live. The older I get, the more clearly I recognize my shor...
How old are you?
59, time does fly!
Has "politically correct" killed the used audio market?
I’ve noticed when you’re buying, ‘it’s vintage- and they don’t build them like this anymore’When I’m selling, ‘it’s 30 years old and could fail at anytime’
Women who enjoy quality speakers

@fromunda Sorry in advance if these items are old news to you, I’m just trying to help....I think putting together a business plan would be time well spent. Working the details out will require you determining profit margins, expenses, and what yo...

Does It Even Matter?
I use a couple of different WiFi receivers. One is wired via rca to a preamp, the other is coax to a multibit, Schitt dac and then rca to an integrated amp. I use both of them to receive Amazon HD music from my iPhone via Airplay. Both sound good ...
Why Crazy Prices paid for Pioneer 100 JBL L100 AR1 AR3 AR3A
I had HPM100’s and JBL 4312’s. I prefer a bright speaker, but something in the upper midrange in both bothered my ears. A buddy listened to them with me and ended up buying them- said they sounded great. I assume both bring good money these days, ...
How long could it take

What was your most disappointing album purchase?
I have a terrible L Buckingham album around here somewhere. I wanted to like it, and over the years I’ve given it ‘just one more shot.’ Nope!
What Percentage Off Would You Expect to Discount For Open Box Amp with Blemish

Does altitude change the sound of speakers??
@marklevinsonSorry my friend, if you thought you could ask a question here, you were mistaken. You just opened yourself to be the fresh meat of the day.Don’t take it personally, it happens all the time. Goober Magoos abound, or Karens, whatever yo...
What Do You Think . . . and How Does It Work?
I use a SVS Sound Cylinder (round tall sub) for my home theater room. It hits pretty hard and tight, but then again I’ve not heard the best in class, etc. It beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, as we say in these parts!
Anyone with tinnitus or hearing loss who is into "high-end" audio?
Yes, I suffer from tinnitus. Differs in intensity, but I still enjoy listening to music. I’ve learned to tune it out over the years. When I read this post- I started hearing the ringing, haha. I know two people with Meniere’s, nasty stuff. One rec...
How many people here generally buy used?
Never have purchased a new piece of audio gear, or vehicle, and very little furniture. I dream of how the ballers live!
