Triangle Speakers
I own Triangle Zerius which are floorstanders and found them bright because i toed them in. I moved them back to a normal position and this helped out alot. When I originally auditioned them I found neatral to darker sounding amps worked best. I c...
Von Schweikert LCR-15 or B&W HTM2
I would opt for the B&W so I could keep the sonic characteristics all the same. Mixing brands isnt going to allow all the speakers to blend. The same tweeter thru out the ht system is essential to getting the best integration.
Dali IKON
The dali ikon 6 that won an award in what hifi mag retails for $1699 i was told by dali out washington state.
Speaker stands for Reference 3A De Capo i
28 inches is generally to tall for most bookshelf speakers. You generally want the tweeter at ear level.
HELP One pair for $2k Recommendations Please
Klipsch RF-7's sound like bright tin cans in my opinion and Def's sound boxy to me. I don't care for either brand theres much better for the same money!

Floorstander or Sub/Sat
Floorstanders have better coherence its sometimes harder to get this with a sub/sat.
Speaker Sugestions Wanted $1500 max
If you want a lively detailed sound try Triangles. I have the Zerius and lovem.
SUB TO MATCH WITH QUAD 22L'S
400-500 doesnt buy a good sub new so maybe try a nht or B&W used in that price range
B&W 703 - How to tame the highs?
I find that B&W's always require a dark sounding amp such as Roksan or Plinius. That way it tames the highs.
Quad 11L owners only, please list the amplifier...
I recommend a Roksan Kandy integrated amplifier there used together in brit mag reviews with great success..........I just bought a pair of Quad 12L's pro version with my Roksan Caspian MKII int.......So i look forward to the combination.......
