Best "Bang for the Buck" you have owned?
Auralic Aries Mini open box for $499 from Audio Advisor. They included a whole year of Tidal free! It probably got discontinued as its margin was not as high as the higher end Auralic options.
Parasound Halo Integrated Buzz/Hum
Even if you were not within the return period, Parasound’s warranty is one of the best I have ever seen. They are extremely pleasant to deal with and will go out of their way to make things right. I would just ask AudioAdvisor for a new unit. I’m ...
Bluesound Node 2 vs. Auralic Aries Mini
Aries Mini - better hardwareNode 2 - better softwareIt’s a wash in my opinion
Best DAC for my situation...Read on!
The only way I would replace the Oppo 105 would be with the newest UD 205. In my opinion it is the most complete digital preamp/DAC in the market right now. You get all the usual digital connections  (usb, coax, optical) plus hdmi, and ARC (adds up ...
Spearit Sound Inventory
I know Safe & Sound in Chicopee took over as the NAD dealer. I could not think of a better replacement. Every time I call them, I get Mike ( the owner) on the phone. And so far my entire system was bought from them. I make a point to drive 1.5...
Parasound Halo Integrated.
@michaela  I'm also using the Aries Mini. But if want a quick and simple (also cheap) solution I would just pick up the Apple TV gen 3 and run it through optical input like @robelvick just mentioned.
Looking to upgrade amp, need help.
I also own the Parasound Halo Integrated. Haven’t looked at anything else since I bought it. If you call Safe and Sound in Chicopee, MA they might be able to work something out on demo unit. They're great.
Parasound Halo Integrated vs Yamaha AS2100
I don't believe you can get anything better than the Parasound Integrated under 3k. Getting back to the original post either of the 2 options would be able to drive the the Motion 40s. The Parasound would definitely have an edge as it has almost d...
Parasound Halo Integrated vs Yamaha AS2100
I own the Halo Integrated driving a pair of Kef LS50s. Powerwise, the Halo is a beast. It will drive pretty much any speaker with plenty of authority. I cannot go past quarter volume without getting a dirty look from the wife. The DAC is second to...
The new OPPO Digital UDP-203 question
I'm actually glad that they're doing that. This may help them cut costs, or put their effort where it really matters (a great video/audio component). I'm not too fond of having 3 different AV devices featuring the same Netflix/Online services. I'm...
An all Parasound system - Good idea?
I currently own the Halo integrated and love it! I always wondered what Halo separates would sound like. I say go for it. If money was no object those would be the components in my system. The A21 will provide enough current to drive any speaker. ...
Shopping for an integrated, advice s'il vous plait.
Second the NAD 375 BEE. Although you said you're looking for an analog option, I would still research the new digital options.I'm an an analog solid state guy myself but I would love to get my hands on these two digital integrated:Nuprime IDA-8NAD...
Auralic Aries Mini vs Bluesound Node ll vs Sonos
Aries mini. USB out to your own dac + 1 free year of Tidal. No contest.
Which integrated amp would you pick?
@Also bought mine at Safe & Sound in Chicopee, MA. Mike and Dave were a pleasure to deal with.
Which integrated amp would you pick?
Halo all the way. Many of us will agree that we don't need that much current, but it's nice to have that kind of power on tap when we ask for it. Currently driving the LS50s. The wife gives a dirty look every time I reach a quarter of that volume ...
