The most natural sound in the world. Wake up guys! You're listening to a youtube video over computer speakers! When will you stop making appraisals of systems with this junk?
The most natural sound in the world. I'm sure that it sounds good, but all youtube videos sound about the same.
The most natural sound in the world. That link led me to a silly cartoon and something about an elephant. What were you trying to show?
FYI: Dynaudio Evidence Masters are being made again! @gotolondon2 No, your fault for being one.
FYI: Dynaudio Evidence Masters are being made again! I think that it's warranted.
FYI: Dynaudio Evidence Masters are being made again! Oh, that's wonderful. We will look forward to pictures. You know...trust but verify.
FYI: Dynaudio Evidence Masters are being made again! Trying to understand...are you ordering a pair, or are you just excited because you can now dream about actually doing it?
Stealth Audio Cables - Customer Service - Seeking Your Thoughts I say do the job yourself. It would affect resale, but who cares? Resale on cables is terrible anyway.
ads 1290L w/upgraded capacitors on internal crossovers/ new woofers 2009 vs vandersteen 5 They are very different speakers. The ADS were well loved, but old, and with mids and tweeters that may not be replaceable. The Vandersteens are more recent and supported by the company, and I think a better speaker overall.
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". @frogman Well said...
Home made bass trap FIXED!! Of course the sound is most important, but now that you know that it works, why don't you make a panel with fiberglass insulation and fabric on a frame?
Home made bass trap FIXED!! You're not really going to leave it that way are you? No, you just couldn't...
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". @mahler123 That's true, but living in the past you will miss the present. It's useful to go there occasionally, but not to linger.
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". I think that there's more value in living the right way in the present moment than dissecting the past and reliving pain that we as individuals weren't directly involved in.
Flat frequency response @cdc I agree with you. I'm often surprised when I get to the measurements part of a Stereophile speaker review, and read about strange anomalies of the design, and then see a not-so-good waterfall plot from a very expensive speaker. |
