Duster Bennett ‎– Justa Duster (Blue Horizon 1969)Oddball one-man-band. English blues. One side is live. Pal of John Mayall. Tragically killed in a car crash in 1976. Love this album.

@spiritofradio I guess so. I'm just not a huge fan of vibes or flute in jazz which is why I've not played this much. Tonight was an eye-opener and I enjoyed the music. Minty condition helped.

Morgana King ‎– More Morgana (Ascot 1966)Awesome. Light and airy recording. I'd have to recommend it.
ATC SCM 40 v2 report
Been following your travels on this. Happy that it's worked out. If you haven't done so already,  you might consider reworking the connections on the connection block to use wire rather than the bars.https://img.canuckaudiomart.com/uploads/large/1...

@B I hear you.  They were the days. I'd give anything to be back with the patchouli longhair chicks!

Alun Davies ‎– Daydo (Columbia 1972)Co-conspirator of Cat Stevens and it sounds it. Average recording. I'll try it on the other arm another time. Side 1.
Can anybody be a speaker designer?
Both of 'em!
Technics + Jelco + Ortofon 2M Black PNP - headshell not level
The Jelco 750 has an azimuth screw on the HS25 headshell.
Can anybody be a speaker designer?
Put it in a shiny glossy box. Put a very high price tag on it. Get stereophile to do the reviews. Get people on forums like this to rave. The sales will go through the roof! "Come on, man."Are you really this naive?
Copper, silver, or gold MC cartridge coils?
OCC copper. But there are those who make very expensive tube amps with silver wire transformers who would argue that silver is the best wire. I digress; maybe not in cartridges.
Whats on your turntable tonight?
Gary Burton Quartet ‎– Picture This (ECM 1982) Side 1. Normally give this a pass because it's mostly vibes. Dunno why but now it sounds great. Must be those springs.
Whats on your turntable tonight?
@B. In the recording. I’d know that voice anywhere!
Whats on your turntable tonight?
Sara Grey With Ed Trickett - S/T (Folk-Legacy 1970)OK. You sit over in that channel, Sara, and I'll sit over in this one. We'll add in some post-echo too. Lovely.

@bkeske Must dig that out. It's been too long. Funny that you were there. I thought I heard you hollering.
Midrange Noise
Seconded. That's pretty impressive @jwaudio .
