There is no way to do that "successfully". Just look at the results (Wilson Benesch Square One Series 2): Sorry, one may like the sound, but objectively, this is rubbish. Any company that puts out a speaker like that clearly has no clue.

Nonsense, WB does not know how to build a proper XO. Just look at their measurements, total ignorance. And they sound like that as well.  @martinius, your first post? You sold your M2 for a vertex?? Com’on a troll can do better than that :(
Powered speakers show audiophiles are confused
@thespeakerdude Appreciate your reply. I look forward to hearing your speakers in Munich's high-end show in a couple of months. What is the name of your brand? Until then,  if you don't mind, I would give Magico and Mundorf the benefit of the doub...
Powered speakers show audiophiles are confused
@thespeakerdude Are you for real? The small copper foil in the Magico XO costs more than the entire PS Audio XO, including the PCB (which is about ¼ thickness of the Magico PCB). And what is wrong with a copper foil inductor??
Hi-end audio is a big zero
Problems? Magico loudspeakers are a precision tool. More so than any other loudspeaker on the market. A clear window to your upstream (the clearest). You need to have your ducks in a row. Everything counts. They will reward you if you do that. If ...
Class D Amplification Announcement
JV is confusing Class D amps with poor digital playback (usual digital-like upper-mid/lower-treble glare). Overall, Class D amps don’t sound like that, to the contrary, they are flat and artificially smooth, and unresolving.
Magico A3 vs. Wilson SabrinaX
If the reviews and measurements say it’s a better speaker than it must be true… Obviously, I (and a couple of thousand others - so I heard) are experiencing the A3 utterly different than you. Neither of our opinion matters. However, if a set of...
Magico A3 vs. Wilson SabrinaX
I’m not familiar with lyngdorf design but I can’t imagine it contributed to the sound that much Sure thing, electronics don’t have anything to do with sound quality 🙄 Also, I don’t see any threads on any forums titled magico haters. Do you? B...
Magico A3 vs. Wilson SabrinaX
Plenty of Wilson Audio haters out there but every time I read their commentsI wonder if they actually had an opportunity to audition a properly set up pair, had they even owned a pair of Wilsons paired with proper electronics and room? In most ca...
Magico A3 vs. Wilson SabrinaX
@linndrum808 The Magicos are not capable of low bass extension. Falses. The A3 extend just as low as the Subrina, and it is doing it in a much more linear way. If you do this you hear the mids in greater detail. False again. Learn the diff...
Soundstage and image height, does it exist?
@jasonbourne52 A narrow floor-to-ceiling line source like the Carver speaker will do this better than any speaker with multiple drivers of varying sizes (B&W, Focal, Magico, Wilson ... as examples). But that’s a side-effect of a line-s...
Need some suggestions for a desktop amp.
I picked up a used Vitus SIA 025, a bit big, but still fits my desk. Incredible find.
Why Is Hi Fi Gear So Darn Expensive?
They asked what they want and that's the only thing. I can built an amp good looking finish sounds pretty good and van asked 20.000dollars. You should do that then...
Considering moving on from B&W...
Although I agree, if you like B&W Magico may not work for you, I’m afraid I have to disagree with audphile1 observation. I own the A3, and they are nothing like what he described. Perhaps they were not set up correctly, or he is used to lesser...
Magico A1 or Sopra 1 or Marten Oscar Duo
I also find the Focal glary. The A1 would be my choice, try listing to a pair.
