Advice on amp to pair with new Revel speakers
You can always return the Schiit and pay the restocking fee if you aren’t satisfied. Personally, I would not spend $5000 for an amp/preamp for the F36. Spend less and buy some room treatments and a pair of 12” rythmik subs.  If you want a DAC, the...
Need Advice on a Tube PreAmp & DAC on a Frugal Budget
I second Schiit. A Saga + for $399 for the preamp.  Add a Modi 3 DAC for $99 or Modi Multibit DAC for $249 and pocket the rest for something else.

Budget?  The F36s are pretty easy to drive.  Any good separates or an integrated with more than 50 watts per channel should work well.  Personally, I would do a Schiit Saga or Freya preamp and Schiit Vidar amp.  The combo will set you back between...
Audio Kinesis Swarm Subwoofer Awarded 2019 Golden Ear Award by Robert E. Greene
Congratulations.
New Rel T5i. Anyone heard them?
I have found the AVS guys to be pretty good and have a lot of data and information on setup for home theater.

Unless you have a very unusual processor, when you set the crossover to high pass the mains/center/surround, all frequencies below the the high pass should be low passed to the subwoofer in addition to the .1. Running a center channel full range (...

Why would you want to run a center channel full range?   Home theater is designed to roll all the speakers off below 80hz.  Take advantage of that.
Magnepan 3.7R's Jumpers and Resistors
I have found short pieces of speaker wire sound better than the jumpers with my Maggies.  I also use Mills resistors for the tweeters  as the stock ones suck the life put of the sound.
Recommend speakers for a large living room
Audiokenesis response above is why it is worth speaking with a designer that does this for a living.  I completely missed that because of the size of your room, room modes are not much of an issue.  With the size room you have, you are really gett...
Are the new Ohm Walsh speakers Audiophile quality?
I remember the Ohm A's fondly....they needed Boulder Dam to power them to really get them going, but I really liked them. I believe the founder of Ohm said they took 300 watts a channel to power them properly and 301 watts to blow them up.

Thanks everyone for the response. Lots of great info here. I have reached out to MBL to organize a demo & am also going to check-out Ohm speakers next week. I hadn’t thought about adding sub-woofers. Question, if I were to add 4 sub-woofers,...
Recommend speakers for a large living room
I am planning on moving to Montana and they have big spaces. I want to buy a vehicle and have $75,000, what should I buy? That is about the same as your question.  What components are you using?  How loud do you listen?  What music do you listen to...

Ohm speakers are designed by room size, the sound is supposed to be the same for all of them.  You should choose between the 2000 and 3000 based on your room size.
Speakers
Not enough power for 1.7s.  The vandersteens are a good suggestion.  You should also look at Salk Song 3s, Revel F208s.
Broken hearted...magnepan and vandersteen
Dennis Murphy has had some personal issues and is not currently selling speakers.  Jim Salk is continuing the the BMR and was kind enough to step in and finish Dennis's existing orders.
