Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
What success?  A failed tech executive at Microsoft, worked at Sony for a while, made no meaningful contributions that stand today. No one from his generation knows who he is or what he does. He is extremely unpopular on the web and forums in gen...
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
@kenjit  I said: ASR is powerless to influence the highest ranks of this industry; such as the top-most Studios, wealthy audiophiles, and audio dealers. Either way, if you write lousy reviews that undermine the actual capabilities of audio equip...
Network optimization for serious streamers
Uhmm. CAT 8 ethernet cables are backwards compatible with older versions of CAT. Doesn't mean more bandwidth...that is dependent upon your ISP and network settings. Better shielding and never any drop outs unless disconnected from a port. Up to 4...
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
@kenjit  Like my Uncle used to tell his brother: "Who died and made you King?" The meaning here is simple. You shouldn't try to take on a responsibility unless someone wants you to help them. Nobody asked for ASR. A great disservice is being don...

Excellent write-up. The only thing you may want now is an engineer-grade CAT 8 cable. They never fail. Are inflexible, and shield better than anything else.
transport/dac vs integrated player
CD Transports can make a difference. If you have a digital/analog switch, even more apparent. Sony, Esoteric, etc. Mostly brands from Japan are great. A separate machine, good short cables to connect them, makes a difference.
THE IMPORTANCE OF TIME DOMAIN RESPONSE MUST READ
So dont be deceived folks. If you want better speakers, you will probably have to make them yourself because speaker manufacturers dont care about sound quality. They are doing the best they can. Why don’t you build a perfect pair of speakers ...
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
if only... @amir_asr had joined audiogon and tried to answer questions on the forums like everyone else, wasn’t so argumentative, and hell, even if he had the wrong answers to every question...at least we could say he tried...the key for him: "be ...
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
@jl35  To be honest, I'm starting to think so. A secondary account; to defend himself. Kind of like an underground bunker. But he's throwing beanbags...not rocks.
Never heard an amp do this before, ideas?
Well whatever it is, hope it gets resolved soon. Good luck!
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
@kenjit Pathetic. @bigtwin Sure. I get it too. Amir is keen on destroying established audio companies or anyone who doesn’t pay him for a review! Either that, or he’s just exceedingly incompetent. Perhaps even both!! Check out my systems pag...

bad power supply, a ground loop, or in need of further inspection.Test another amplifier to see if it's the amplifier that's the problem.
MSB Premier DAC new firmware Available
@hgeifman  My friend has a MSB Reference DAC and recently updated the units firmware. She suggested I check the MSB web site for updates to my MSB Premier DAC. A woman interested in audio gear / hi-fi ?!!  Where do you find these women?  Tha...
Audiogon site acting weird.
I believe they were working on some stuff recently. Haven't experienced any issues recently. The photo order issue under our virtual systems was solved. In other words, changing the order so you'd have 1st picture, 2nd picture etc. wasn't saving ...
Louder sound from left ear cup.
To check balance in left and right channels, look up Pulse Ultra - Build Your Cages. A stereo pan from left to right. You may have to open them up (the enclosure) remove some screws and check to see if a wire is loose on the backside of the drive...
