Why According to some Turntable extremists Pitch Control and Direct Drive is Sacrilege?
I would not call it treble problems, the treble is just cleaner without correction. The heavy platter in combination with very low friction imparts a stability on its own, very little correction is needed.I still use the Road Runner for calibratio...

Absolutely true, and very funny!
What ever happened to Krell ?
I have been a Krell fan and owner for 20 years, they make great sounding gear. That said, Fpb was slightly withdrawn in the treble with an emphasis on the deepest bass, overshadowing the middle bass. The treble got better in Fpb c and cx but the m...

MBL 101E MKII tweeter attenuation
Your talking about adding electronic EQ to one of the most resolving, and picky speakers on the market ? Why? The 101 gives you adjustability in treble, mids and bass through the internal crossover at a much higher level than most external can pro...
MBL omnidirectional speakers. How do they sound ?
I have used MBL 101 E speakers the last five years, and love them !They are power hungry, hard to set up and ruthless at finding the flaws in your system. But when everything is right they just bring you to the recording venue. Good live recording...
