Substantial Upgrade
I have not heard the Hana ML, but I suspect the $450.00 upgrade will be subtle compared to the SL.  The difference between the EL and the SL is immediately apparent.  The SL is probably the sweet spot in the Hana range.  I would pause on the ML un...
How old are you?
Old enough to remember yanking the tube amp out of my Mom's Sears Silvertone console and hooking it up to some 12" Utah speakers that I built plywood cabinets for.  That year, Santa brought me a Garrard SL55b with a Shure m95e!
Looking for a new integrated amp
All of the amps you are looking at will work fine with your system.  I think I would go with the Rogue.  More importantly I would take a look at upgrading your phono stage.  Just about any competent amplifier will drive those Tektons, but you will...
$1000 bookshelf speakers with "recessed", "laid back" or "flat" mid-range?
Too bad you don't have an extra $1500 or so to spend.  Harbeth makes a line of speakers that are quite easy to live with.
Cheap/expensive or expensive/cheap?
My suggestion is to find a quality audio dealer and work with them to build a system that suits your needs and budget.  Trying to do this using internet opinion forums and back issues of Stereophile is a fool's errand. The whole system needs to be ...

How do you sort your LPs?
I have four categories:  Pop, jazz, classical, and "other".  Within the catagories I go alphabetical (performers for pop and jazz, composers for classical).  "Other" is things like seasonal records, novelty records, test records, comedy, and anyth...
Guest suddenly takes it upon herself to move my speakers
Who cares?  If your setup is that fussy you should keep a lock on the door.
Which is the most important part of a stereo system?
Room.  The room is usually the hardest to change.  The room will dictate speaker and listener placement.Once that is determined, a savvy buyer will consider speakers (including subwoofers) that will perform optimally in the chosen room.  Sound dis...
Recommendations for upgrade
You already have great speakers.  Finding better ones will cost considerable money.  I think you should audition the Maggies.  Something quite different from what you have.  I would also look into Quad ESLs and Avantegarde horns (same theme, somet...
Ended my Qobuz subscription
Wouldn't lacuna be trisyllabic?  And can there be such a thing a "bisyllabic" (an unholy marriage of Greek and Latin)?  The more common word would be "disyllabic" (not offending the Greek gods).  More to the point, however, is that there might be ...
Which types of speakers are ideal against a wall?
You can certainly design a speaker that goes against a wall, and you can certainly market a speaker as "placement friendly", but physics is physics, and the longer wavelengths are just going to interact with the room and create resonance problems ...
One Only Please- Your Favorite Track from which album and Artist please
Bach/Goldberg/Gould/1956/Columbia.  It was conceived as a single piece, beginning and ending with an aria, so I consider it as a complete work of art and a singular expression of artistry (not to be defined by "tracks").Magnificent and sublime pas...
Help for an Old School Audiophile
Start with a Tidal subscription and your smartphone. There are a number of ways to get the files to your hifi, the easiest being wireless internet. If you have an iPhone, an old Airport Express works great, if android, buy a used Chromecast audio....
Which types of speakers are ideal against a wall?
If your decor dictates speaker placement, I would highly recommend digital signal processing.
