Stacked Large Advents v Cornwalls v Klipschorns
I have had experience with three different sets of stacked Advents, they are very good and fun to listen too. All sets had been recapped with new woofer surrounds. They can deliver some wonky impedance issues so be aware of that.    On to Cornw...
This forum is antiquated.
As frivolous as it is, a like button would be nice, given some of these post are hilarious.
RWO/Fostex LS3
I have a complete mid/tweeter assembly in teak with the drivers. Also a set of schematics for the crossovers to go with some specific JBL 12’s I sourced as well. You kinda got me a bit nervous now that I know spare parts are unavailable. Definitel...
What Is The Most Romantic Song That You Have Ever Listen To?
Lady May by Tyler Childers is a sweet love song. It’s difficult to think of the best ever.
Do you care about car audio?
Up right bass about 33Hz, piano about 28Hz, jazz has got that bass, bass, bass.
Barn speakers
Passive PA style speakers and the amps to push them are cheap and plentiful on the used market. Since the price of powered monitors has come down that’s the norm. Here is an example of four Bose 801’s powered by 200wpc Bose 1800 I was messing arou...

Do you care about car audio?
I just realized something reviewing this thread. At 49 I’ve had 42 cars total, I have never put any major stereo system in any sports car I have owned. In retrospect I subconsciously must have wanted to be in tune with the driving experience rathe...
Do you care about car audio?
Comparing home and car audio is like comparing a 911 turbo and a Hellcat, they both do the same thing, just differently. I’ve never personally been so distracted by listening to music to loose situational awareness, gave me a chuckle, thanks for t...

(I've said this in this forum before, so if you've heard it, bear with me.Back in the 90s, Richard Clark had two cars that were simply incredible on the IASCA circuit. A Cadillac and a Buick Grand National. The GN was the later car for him. But yo...
Guest suddenly takes it upon herself to move my speakers
(I’d want to smash her head on the ground tbh)For touching your speakers, really man. After reading some of these post I’m a little surprised, and I thought this was a classy place. I guess you really can’t BUY class, to many tough guys around her...
What other Hobbies or Interests Do You Have?
That’s funny, in my twenties I knew a group of mountain bikers that called themselves Team Slop (Southeastern Lowland Offroad Peddlers). They would hit the old bubbler, jump in a van to the top of a mountain, and only ride down hill.
These seem a bit pricey $$$
I would love to have a listen to those, never had a bad experience with odd speakers that use Scan Speak drivers like North Creeks, and Norhs. I enjoy SG’s videos, thanks for posting.     It strikes me a little funny that 12k is a crazy number ...

I use a space above an old equestrian barn on the property where I live, I have a pretty neat system set up there. It consist of some Dynaudio towers, a Mac 2205, an Audio Research pre, a streamer, and a DAC. I have a TT and an RtR set up as we...
When you’re not here who will inherit your system?
Yes reality is a bummer sometimes. We had a great laugh discussing the (Score) thread of my buddies collection if left up to his family to liquidate. It would go something like this. (Major score today, filling up the biggest U-Haul I could rent w...
