Bent Audio Autoformer vs Tube Pre
I'm using ATSAH (Hypex NC1200) amps and Lynx Hilo.Pot in box doesn't work....needs to be remote volume controlled.
Tube Pre-Amp Recommendation
I owned the Dodd buffer and replaced it with the Dude. There is absolutely no comparison between the two. The Dude is the real deal. The only reason I sold mine is that I need a balanced pre for my balanced source.Yes, I might get a balanced Dude....

Was the Bent that you tried an Autoformer and fully balanced unit?

I have sold my Dude as my source is now fully balanced. I don't know your view on passives so if you can share, that would be great.

Loud pop when I use the turntable on/off button
My new C1 with my Zesto Andros PS-1 is dead quiet when turning on / off the table with the volume up.
VPI Classic Platter- Naked or better with a mat?
I have a Classic 1 and MUCH prefer it without. The other advantage that you get without is no static with the stock rubber VPI mat.Go naked!!!
VPI Classic---replacing stock feet: my experience
