Everything Matters
I had a similar experience when I installed a ps audio outlet a few years ago.I wasn't expecting anything except a good firm grip on the plugs but the highs cleaned up noticeably.Sometimes you don't realize what your system is lacking until you st...
What’s your vote for the most ridiculous, overpriced, and useless tweak?
I think it was Coconut Audio that used to sell footers shaped like various animals. Each set of footers were claimed to enhance your system in special mysterious ways.Funny stuff:)That site offered many bizarre items.
Are members not leaving feedback anymore?
I know,it is irritating.I always leave feedback and less than 50% leave any for me.I 've been a member here since 2000 and it didn't used to be that way.

Windows in a listening room
I've got two large windows in my room that I was convinced were causing problems.Until I began placing bass traps and panels over them.It surprisingly did nothing to improve the sound. The corners and the front wall were the culprits.I live in a ru...
Terrible Booms
The floor won't resonate problematicaly if the bass waves are controlled.I have a "live" room myself. If the subwoofers(that fire towards the wall) are pulled away from the wall farther than 2 inches the floor and everything else resonates. You can ...

I'd forgotten about Soul Train.+1
Terrible Booms
Doesn't matter what speakers you use,or what footers or platforms. The bass waves are going to continue to cause the boom as they slam back and forth and up and down.To tame those waves you'll need to treat the front wall behind the speakers,especi...

n80 don't hurt yourself practicing Fred's dance and drum routine;)Seriously,I never knew he could play percussion.Very cool!
Review on Linear Tube Audo Ultralinear amplifier just went up on Six Moons.com
+1jsautter I would love to hear the new amp.I have the MZ2 which is a flea powered integrated that I use for a preamp.I did run it directly to my speakers for a day out of curiosity at low volume. The music continued to sound clear and natural,even...
