Does Hearing Loss Disqualify Me from Audiophiledom?
@dadork  Thank you for that insight.  I will be consulting an audiologist for a cleaning and have them check my pharyngotympanic tube.  And I agree with your “turn it up” approach. I would have to invest in an EQ. Any recommendations? Was the tr...
Does Hearing Loss Disqualify Me from Audiophiledom?
@clearthinker  Your hearing may be off, but your mind reading abilities are exceptional. I have the exact same response when I pressurize my ears. It’s almost too bright!  It makes me wonder if the hearing “loss” we experience is not from the ina...

Hoping to have my Decware amp built and delivered in 2023, but that build sheet is long and slow. Might just get pushed to 2024.

Recommendation on speakers for listening to live music

Selling off Tubes for Solid State, A Cooler Love Story?
I don’t have a lot of experience w many amps/gear, but I’m running a Krell Duo 300 XD class A 300 wpc. The unit stays cool the entire time at high DB levels pushing my Forte’s. The unit does have fans in the back, which I’m sure is frowned upon, b...
