Do DACs break down less than a CD player?
Thanks Tvad for that smart reponse - I will definitely look into using the computer as the source. What's a good component to get the signal out of he hard drive? What soundcard ? Would you happen to know?

Receiver with sleep funtion
I don't want others to do my work - just spare a minute and let me know if your surround receiver has a sleep function. Let me rephrase the question then - does anyone know if upscale Denon units have sleep function?I tried to find this on info on...

I am suspecting Yamaha concentrates 6 ch powers to 2, thus putting out more than 130watts per ch. Am I wrong?
