Listening position/speaker position
Easy, google “Cardas speaker placement” for the formula-works great!
The Psychology of Constant (Equipment) Change
Very simple: just reflects unhealed trauma where buying more “stuff” is an attempt to distract from the discomfort of the underlying issues.  How many audiophiles doesn’t take to change a lightbulb? Just one, but the lightbulb has to really WANT t...
Need some help soldering Binding posts.
Do you have to solder or can you just loop the internal wire to the Cardas posts?
Quick speaker review: Ojas DIY kit
@avgonzalez77 great question, it's the sound you get when you turn on one of those classic teen movies (sixteen candles, say anything, pretty in pink).  It's a bit of a metallic, boom box sound but in a good, nostalgic way!  Listening to Bowie's "...

Ojas?
I have a pair of the Ojas kit speakers, and I LOVE them.  I a/b tested vs. Klipsch heritage Cornwalls and Belles (both with upgraded components), and I like the Ojas better.  As my wife said, the Klipsch sound nice and smooth, but the Ojas have a ...
Emotiva
I agree with @rar1 , I have the ERC2 and love it, sounds great to me, even though I have not compared it with other players on that system. I love how the remote is super heavy and substantial, and the player sounds great! I’m guessing it’s a kill...
Speaker placement
I had the same question about room placement, and did two separate methods: the Sumiko method and Cardas method.  Wouldn't ya know it, both of them had the exact same result!  I now enjoy my Klipsch Belles out in the room (out of the corners- blas...
What is your favorite album cover?
