Do CD Transports benefit much from upgraded power cords?
Yes, they do....generally speaking, of course. I have used many CD players of varying quality over the years. IN GENERAL, the nicer the CD player, the better the unit responds to a nicer cord. If you are using a cheapie CD player (say....under ...

Nice to hear something good.
Another Fedex problem...
I prefer FedEx to the other available shippers. UPS is second, then DHL... I avoid the USPS like the plague.
Footers- Break In? Such A Change.
I really have to try these out. Thanks for the updates, @ozzy .
You Can Get Rich From 'Snake Oil'!
What are we supposed to be arguing about? Ahhh, who cares...
How serious are you?
I dunno. 6/5? 7? Meh, it's not worth arguing about. I don't care. Enjoy!
If the DAC is the same, how different do CD transports sound?

"100% of music listeners prefer live music to recorded playback..." I certainly don’t.
playing "top-damaged" CDs ?
@mahler123 , @boxcarman , some players are definitely fussier than others! @richalan , greetings from the other side of the river. Northern, NH here. Sorry for your luck over there. I do have experience with stuck-on booklets. Just soak them for ...
playing "top-damaged" CDs ?
As long as the amount of paper is negligible, it will still play. Why not try to soak the cds in question in warm water to see if you can then get it all off? What I'd be most concerned about (with that particular CD transport) is that it is slo...
How Much Do Aesthetics Factor Into Your Decisions?
Honestly, not a whole lot. Equipment that looks good is cool, but it's not really THE deciding factor when I purchase something.
If you want lame advice DON'T do this!
If someone asks for genuine advice on a subject/product I have experience with, I will give it honestly.  If someone chooses to "take me to task" for said advice and has no pics of their system, and nothing other than their word on what they own ...
