Suggested Power Cable for Streamer
That big power cable is delivering too many electrons and they are stacking up in your streamer like donuts during a police strike.  ... JK.  No reason on earth to buy a smaller cable. Jerry
Credenza or media stand for hiding away equipment
Teaching opportunity.   Equipment likes to be open for cooling.
Comparing Legacy Focus snd PS Audio FR20
On the amp....you have plenty of power for either speaker but the Legacy you will be listening to at much less that 1 wpc.  So make sure your amp performs well at less than 1 watt.
Qobuz Playing Games with my bill
I cancelled tidal after the trial.  I figured aout a few months later they were still charging me.  I checked and indeed my account showed cancelled   took me forever to get ahold of them.  They had 2 accounts for me and I had cancelled one.  They...
Knockoffs- how can they just advertise so easily?

Comparing Legacy Focus snd PS Audio FR20
You didn't say what amp you are planning to use.  I have long oogled the Legacy Focus SE with it's high sensitivity as a great candidate to pair with a 300b or similar SET.   The PSAudio at 87 dB needs much more power and to get class A power to ...
Knockoffs- how can they just advertise so easily?
If you are only interested in the two examples give in the OP, then I have no info.  I was speaking of the name brands that have their stuff made in China, most do.  Examples include Kimber Cable, Cardas cable stock, and WBT cable connectors.  The...
Knockoffs- how can they just advertise so easily?
Many of these "counterfeits" are made in the same factories as the originals.   a company orders 10,000 and the disreputable manufacturer makes 20,000 and the sells them undercutting the OEM, stealing the intellectual property and all the other in...

Dedicated 20 amp circuit. 10/2 or 10/3?
If you put in 2 10 awg circuits and call it a 40 amp capacity, you have a problem.  A shared neutral would be only 20 amp capacity.  if you have a 40 amp audio system, call the Who, they'll be jealous.
Dedicated 20 amp circuit. 10/2 or 10/3?
Another reason to have a circuit from each side would be if you found one side noisier than the other you could plug everything into the less noisy side. Remember the threads of people trying to find mysterious noises?  switching to the other leg...
Dedicated 20 amp circuit. 10/2 or 10/3?
One "side" is the red wires and one "side" is the black wires.  Each of these wires to neutral is 120V.  Red to black is how you get 240V.   You should keep your load somewhat balanced on red and black but the entire audio system will not be a bi...
Dedicated 20 amp circuit. 10/2 or 10/3?
Lets think about why a dedicated line was conceived and what it is used to achieve. A dedicated line does the following in my mind: 1. Ensure that your audio system has more than enough power to handle a big amp pulling pulses of high current for...
Dedicated 20 amp circuit. 10/2 or 10/3?
10/3 (plus ground) will get you 2 circuits.  10/2 one circuit.  one is probably good but it might be nice to have a second circuit.  Of course both circuits would share a neutral which some will say defeats the purpose.   Bottom line, if you need...
First world problems - Rf Shielding....
Solving a problem that doesn't exist.  Unless you live near a giant rf transmitter.  Even 220KV overhead transmission lines don't seem to cause noise on nearby audio systems. Most of us shield our power cables, which is cheap and easy and makes s...
