Here we go!  For this exact issue I found a vendor and paid the really reasonable price for a couple of pair of EarGlasses: https://earglasses.com/ The things really work.  Easy to put on and take off and I am most pleased. Cheap and functional!

We tried the Topping D90 against the SMSL M400 both in the same price range and preferred and bought the SMSL M400.  The Topping was a bit forward and bright for our taste, while the SMSL was just right.  Not as good as my Chord Hugo TT2 but much ...

I love my pangea racks.  Easy to assemble, strong, nice looking.  Talk about bang for the buck--Simply Practical.

Do Banana Plug Adaptors Degrade SQ?
I have used the cheap banana to spade adapters from Amazon and I thought they were fine until I got a set of XOX Spade Adapters from Black Cat Cable.  The XOX adapters not only worked better and had a better construction, they sounded essentially ... 
Pure analog system with high power
Make sure you are able to try the Maggies before you buy.  I had some in what I thought was a great room and they never did work.  I had oodles of Macintosh power but never achieved the sound I wished for.  Harbeth will likely be good in most any ... 
Best Bang for your Buck DAC ?
Bought an SMSL M-400 for about $810 and it is amazing!  It doesn't sound as good as my Chord Hugh TT2 but it comes pretty close in many respects and costs a fraction of the price.I also own and agree with you on the Audioquest Dragon.
