will large speaker magnets damage LCD screen?

I have an early 1990's set of klipsch that are not magnetically shielded. They used to cause problems with my old CRT. Now I finally have a new LCD and literally have the speakers one 1/2 inchs bedhind and flush with the edge of the screen. No color issues but will I get into trouble in the future?
