I believe that there is a factory provided firmware upgrade for the NAD M3 which converts one of the existing inputs into a HT bypass. Contact NAD directly or your NAD dealer for details on how this can be done.
NAD M3 Master Series Amp
I'm using a M3 in my home system as a 2ch. amp for critical music listening. I use the same L&R speakers also in a Home Theater setup using a Onkyo Receiver. Unfortunately I have to switch speaker wires each time I decide to listen to stereo music or watch movies because the sound from the Receiver on 2ch music is not that great, even bi-amped.
The M3 does not have a HT bypass. I've heard there is a simple way to upgrade this amp for bypass but I can't find any information on where or how to do it. Anyone have any information?
Thanks in advance,
steve
