P. Conditioners + P. Cables in sequence

I found that my AUDIO MAGIC TRANSCENDANCE power conditioner connected in sequence to my KIMBER PALLADIAN power cord and DAC (EMM DCC2) to be not as good as say with a regular stock cord connected. There is a loss of dynamics and transparency. Is too much of a good thing(filtering) the problem?
Does anyone else have a problen with a sequential connection of a high quality power conditioner and power cord? (As stand alone units (Tanscendance & Palladian) they are awesome)

I've not sure that I've ever experienced too much filtering for digital, on the other hand a filtered cord on my preamp connected through the conditoner sounded exactly like you descibe.
Perhaps the power supply in the EMM is of sufficient quality that you need no further conditioning.
