Integrated amp for Philharmonic BMR monitors

Looking for proven pairing with BMR monitors. Would like to hear from past/present owners. I have consider Rega Elex. Musical fidelity m5si,m3si, and stretching a bit to rogue Cronus magnum 3. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Yeah you pretty much gave up on the BMRs when you got the CM3 and probably Maggies too.  There’s a good reason most here recommend choosing speakers first before the amp, and maybe you’ll now find out why.  Good luck.

I tend to agree with you Soix…and having to do over I’d admit to being impatient…

yet I do appreciate your insight on this thread as well as others I’ve run across. I have found some local opportunities to demo other speakers/brands as well. Tannoy, Proac, Wharfedale,Revel…so I’m excited to put the work in !
I will admit it’s a bit surprising that no actual BMR owners chimed in with their experience though ! Maybe they are too busy just listening!lol

highly recommend going to hear ProAc speakers if you possibly can. They are very natural sounding and throw off an expansive 3D soundstage while disappearing as a sound source in your room, and they offer a fairly benign load so should pair very well with your amp both technically as well as sonically — could be a lotta synergy there if those are sound characteristics you’re looking for.  Just my $0.02 FWIW.

@soix

sounds good!

I will be able to listen to tannoy cheviot, Proac D2…as well as Wharfedale 85th Linton. probably even have a chance to place them in my room…they are only like 10 miles away so super excited !

@soix

update. I have Wharfedale Lintons set up currently. The Proacs were sold the day before I was able to go listen to them!! Aaahhh.
BUT Philharmonic just released a new tower speaker that measures @ 90db with dual 6.5” drivers that would seem to be a better fit for amp…

Any thoughts?
