Why are the Wharfedale Jade 3 stand mount speakers so hard to find on the resale market.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, and I am from the vintage side of the road. I have a simple and straight to the point question, Why Are Wharfedale Jade 3 speaker so hard to find for resale. I think I have the answer to the question, but I would like to know what other members of this form that are familiar with this speaker or not think about the question and the reason why it may be so hard to find this speaker in any venue on the resale market.

In my post of the Wharfedale Jade 3 Speakers, I failed to mention which preamplifier was used in the demonstration. The preamplifier was the ADCOM GFP-1A the amplifier was a QUAD 4005x2 300 watts per CH.  Speakers WHARFEDALE JADE 3

Good Day!

PEACE!

I have a pair of the Jade 5s and jade 3s. They are fantastic speakers imo and have no plans to get rid of them.

Hi Jewel5, YES! they are FANTASTIC. But I have to revisit a statement that I made on comparing them to my BORRESEN C1 stand mount speakers. Like I said in my explaining of the speakers sounding similar in my HEAD was what I meant when I said that. But after setting them up and listening to them in my listening room for the first time I can still say they sound Great, but they are not on the same level as the BORRESEN C1 Stand mount speakers like I said in my post. After listening to them side by side or let's say one after the other in my room the Borresen is more of an ULTRA HI END stand mount speaker and its sound quality and price reflex just that. But the Wharfedale Jade3 sounded so good that day and still to this day I was temporarily lost in insanity by comparing the two speakers on the same level. I apologize to me myself, and all of the other owners of this OUTSTANDING speaker, The Borresen C1 floor standing speaker. How can I forget that there are LEVELS to this game of HIFI. But I was BLINDED BY THE LIGHT AND REVVED UP LIKE A DUCE... by the Wharfedale Jade 3 speakers until I did a PROPPER LISTEN. Still even though they are 15 years old and Considered Vintage they can still Compete with some of today's higher priced speaker in the same Class. One thing I do know is that they are for sure AUDIOPHILE QAULITY IN BUILD AND SOUND, and they do past the test to stay in my collection of stand mount Audiophile Speakers.

GOOD DAY and PEACE! to ALL

Hello to all, I need to correct something in my post of the Wharfedale Jade 3 stand mount speakers, In my visit to London England I Visited several High End Hifi brick and mortar stores and in my confusion in writing my post I did visit AUDIO GOLD but after getting my thoughts together during my return to the states I realized that it was not (Audio Gold) that I listened to the Wharfedale Jade 3 speakers in a sound room but in fact it was Billy V Sound Systems 248 Lehigh road London. They have great listening rooms of deferent seizes with comfortable seating arrangements for listening. But if ever in the UK British London don't forget to stop by Audio Gold for a larger variety of vintage gear and vintage High-End Equipment.

GOOD DAY and PEACE! to ALL
