$2000 Dac

I have kept my eyes on the Dac comparisons. What I'd like to know is what Dac can I buy new or used for under $2000? I am looking for examples that don't throw the voices so far in front. Yes, I like the detail. I am coming from a Luxman dac that was very good, but I just felt the voices were too close, often pianos felt the same. Sometimes almost feeling a little glare as well. So, I am searching for a detailed dac with a little more laid back mids for under 2 grand, new or used. thanks

I heard the Schiit Guniger 2 on Saturday. That is one fine DAC, better than the more expensive Schiit Yggi+ MIB that I own and getting converted to the Byggy. The Guniger 2 was so good that I am thinking of holding off on selling the Byggy or at least give it a listen. It is still at Schiit getting upgraded.

Wow I have the luxman d10x with the dac in it and it's fine.denafrips r2r dacs are great as well.so is the d8 dac at 2k. Alot like topping d90 as well. So many dacs so if you had an audio club or dealers to listen to.go to amazon get something on the 30 day trial is another way. Enjoy the education

Living in a small town I have one dealer 60 miles away. All else is bought at your own risk. Thankfully it's not speakers this time.
