jafant,
Yes I have two pair of CS 2.4SE.
Reporting back.
Well ig316b. and I had a very productive weekend.
As stated in earlier post we set up a pair CS 2.4SE and mono SS2 subs with their crossovers.
I'll let ig316b comment on the subs and crossovers.
The CS 2.4SE haven't been played for some time and I was sure glad to spend some time with them. We listened to just the CS2.4SE at first to hear their attributes alone then we would run with SS2.
They are fun speakers. They surely are easier to set up than their older siblings. We had them 10'-1.5" apart , 3'-9.250" from back wall, 4'-8.650" from side walls and was a perfect equilateral triangle to listening chair.
We had plenty of power to drive the 2.4SE so we were ready to see what they had to offer.
We played a variety of music. Everything we threw at them they played extremely well. We purposely did not play bass heavy tracks but kept our selections to the frequency range fitting for the 2.4SE.
At their price point you'd be hard pressed to find a speaker that is better. Different yes better that's questionable.
When we put in the mono SS2 things were about to change and change they did.
The speed and weight in the bass region with the SS2 was unexpected. It produced bass as if was coming from the 2.4SE and integrated very well with the room. we set them ups where we thought they should go and never moved them after that.
