Looking into them myself. Have a set of meze neos and want a bit more clarity without sacrificing the extra bass. Personally they are mostly for video games. Posting to be updated should others reply.

I am considering finding a close backed pair to go with my Focal Elex. I’m going to sell my Koss Electostatic pair with Dekoni pads… maybe in exchange for these Dan Clark’s?
I’ve read some reviews… I heard they would be good with my Drop AAA789 amp?

Another option, albeit with a bit of a different sound signature, would be the Hifiman HE-R9. It’s got a little bit of a richer and perhaps a more dynamic sound versus the Aeon, which may actually pair well with your more neutral sounding amp.
