FZ documentary a winner

I really enjoyed the Frank Zappa documentary "Zappa".  First, it was produced by the Zappa family and surprisingly showed Frank warts and all.  I wish it would have explored more if there was a link between Frank's fascination with explosives as a child and his love of percussive instruments.   Also, it might have delved more into the source of inspiration for some of the classics ("Peaches in Regalia" for instance).  These are nit picks.  Highly recommended.

Nice to hear of this! Thank you russellrcncom! Frank Zappa was certainly an iconaclast in the music business who left us all too soon!
Thanks for the reminder!! I've been meaning to watch that since it came out, but keep forgetting! 'Fascination with explosives'? Was he Ronnie or Kenny?
